The Grand Circle by Don'o Kim
Korean born Australian computer programmer, Ko, has designed radical software, to challenge Korea's politicians and their ineptitude in solving Korea's division. Madam Cha, Ko's wife from whom Ko has long been separated by misadventure, pursues the same aim. She is now the hostess of The Little Blue House, an establishment that caters for visiting VIP's with Korea's traditional art and cuisine. She is secretly helping a group of underground activists that plans a national reunfication march, but Cha cannot pass up the chance to seek revenge for the wreck of her family when the opportunity arises. The paths of Ko and Cha converge only when Korea's divison has inflicted on them a tragedy beyond redemption.
