Eva Delectorskaya is on the run from Lucas Romer, whom she suspects is implicated in the death of Morris Devereaux. She makes her escape to Canada and a new identity - Mary Attendine. Eva finds a job with the Ministry of Supply, and seeks a transfer to England.
