19th Century Crime Fiction
A season of nineteenth century crime fiction, from local and world writers. First is The Illumined Grave by Mary Fortune, who speaks of the country's colonial past and was considered Australia's first crime writer. The second is After the Accident by Edward Dyson and, to finish the week, The Cask of Amontillado by American writer Edgar Allan Poe.
