Across the Friendship Bridge in City South, the citizens are rich, thriving and free. Though the border between the two cities is tightly controlled, people from City North still make desperate attempts to smuggle themselves south in search of a better life. In this harsh political environment, a dangerous relationship begins. A man and a woman from opposite sides of the divided city fall in love. The lovers will be tested in a way that neither of them could have imagined. In the end, only a devastating and selfless act will save them.
