Our Father Who Art in the Tree
|
by Judy Pascoe
Mr O'Neill dies. While his family is still mourning, his spirit takes up residence in a tree out the back. One by one his wife and children climb high into the branches to listen to him. Consoled by his presence, they refuse to let him go - for a second time. Just when they learn to accept their loss, the tree starts to take on a life of its own.
