The Nicholson Museum

The Nicholson Museum at the University of Sydney has the biggest and most important collection of antiquities in Australia, including ancient art and archaeology from Greece, Italy and Egypt, as well as from the Near and Middle East. Named after Sir Charles Nicholson, one of the founders of the University, the museum began with his collection back in 1860. Julie Copeland spoke to senior curator Michael Turner.
