Your Gallery in the Deep End

Deep End listeners made key curatorial decisions which formed the basis of a real-life exhibition at the Newcastle Region Art Gallery. They chose the theme of the exhibition, selected the artworks to be shown, and decided how they'd be hung. In the process, they gained insight into the workings, design and creation of an art exhibition and were rewarded by being given special access to the expansive collection at the Newcastle Region Art Gallery. Poetry slams are a fast, feisty and frenetic way of delivering poetry. One writer from each state and territory was invited to perform a two-minute poem live on the Deep End.
