Police have interviewed a 62-year-old truck driver involved in a head-on collision with a car at Lake Tabourie, south of Ulladulla, yesterday afternoon.

The driver of the car, a 32-year-old Sanctuary Point woman, died at the scene.

The man sustained minor injuries and was taken to Milton Hospital for treatment.

The Princes Highway was closed in both directions for about seven hours, only reopening at midnight AEST last night.
