Titans' Friend facing one-match ban

Posted September 2, 2008 12:30:00

The NRL match review committee has laid four charges from last night's match between Manly and Gold Coast at Brookvale Oval.

Titans hooker Nathan Friend will miss one match if he enters an early guilty plea for fighting.

The Sea Eagles' Steve Matai and Glenn Stewart will both avoid suspension with early guilty pleas for careless high tackles.

The Titans' Esi Tonga will also escape a ban if he enters an early guilty plea for a dangerous throw.
