Dockers' Carr keen to return to Port

Posted August 30, 2008 18:24:00

Fremantle vice-captain Josh Carr has advised the Dockers he wants to be traded back to Port Adelaide.

Carr was recruited from the Power in 2005 and has played 83 games for the Dockers.

The 28-year-old won the 2004 AFL premiership with the Power.

The Dockers say Carr was a key part of their plans for 2009.

"The club made a significant investment four years ago to bring Josh back to Perth, so obviously we are disappointed," general manager of football operations Chris Bond said.
