Macarthur Coal posts 9.3pc profit increase

Queensland mining company Macarthur Coal has announced a $72.7 million profit for this financial year, up 9.3 per cent on last year.

Chief executive officer Nicole Hollows says it was a challenging year for central Queensland operations because of transport constraints and flooding.
