Braith Anasta says the Sydney Roosters must win against South Sydney in the NRL tomorrow or risk missing out on the top four.

The Roosters have lost their last three games after spending most of the season in the top four.

They have not played finals football since 2004.

Anasta says the Roosters accept they are out of form.

"It's obvious we've hit a flat spot you know, and it's disappointing to see so much negative publicity about us," he said.

"Obviously a lot of people are worried... and we've got to dig ourselves out of it and we take ownership for that."
