Posted August 28, 2008 10:40:00

The Federal Department of Transport and Regional Services has delivered almost $50 million for councils in the great southern, south-west and Peel.

Most of the general purpose and road grants have gone to the city of Albany, which has received $3 million.

Mandurah and Manjimup are entitled to more than $2 million and Bunbury has received a little over $1 million.
