Mokbel lawyers fight asset seizure bid

Posted August 22, 2008 11:33:00

Lawyers for Tony Mokbel are fighting a Supreme Court bid to seize more of his assets.

The Court heard Mokbel had not been convicted of the charges linked to the seizure bid - and it was possible he would be acquitted.

The Director of Public Prosecutions has already been granted approval to sell two properties and a sports car owned by Mokbel.

The hearing has been adjourned until next month.
