Brisbane man appeals assault sentence

A Brisbane man jailed over a serious assault on city's southside has appealed against his sentence.

Twenty-year-old Michael Mikaele was given nine years in prison for his role in an attack on a Gold Coast man.

Scott Lillicrap was robbed, beaten and stomped on at the Sunnybank railway station in 2006 while on his way home from a football game.

The Court of Appeal has reserved its decision.
