Wells commits to Kangaroos

Posted August 19, 2008 11:22:00

North Melbourne midfielder Daniel Wells has signed with the club for another two years.

The West Australian has been one of the Kangaroos' best midfielders since joining the team in 2002 as the number two overall draft pick.

He says he is staying at Arden Street for the club culture.

"The club have been fantastic for me, not just with footy, but off the field as well," he said.

"Some issues where they've really helped me out and [I'm] just repaying the faith. The playing group is fantastic, probably a huge reason why I signed back up."
