Posted June 21, 2008 07:31:00

The West Indies are chasing 98 for victory from 11 overs in a rain-affected Twenty20 match against Australia in Barbados this morning.

Australia reached 3 for 97 from their allotment of overs after the match was shortened to 11 overs a side following the rain.

Debutants Luke Ronchi (36) and Shaun Marsh (29) laid a strong platform atop the Australian order, with Shane Watson finishing unbeaten on 17.

Cameron White finished on 10 not out, while David Hussey was dismissed without scoring.

Kemar Roach claimed 2 for 29 from three overs.
