Basically BlackThis 1973 film was based on a black theatre production at the Nimrod theatre in Sydney. It comprises a series of comic/ tragic sketches in which most of the black actors wear white masks ('white face') and take white roles. It was produced by Bill Monro and directed by Nicholas Parsons.
