Terms and Conditions

The ABC will not incur any liability in relation to the gathering of the media that you submit. If you provide a review and/or image and/or audio and/or video for an arts review, under no circumstances should you endanger yourself or others.

Any media that you provide may be used almost immediately by the ABC. For this reason we require some text explaining just what your image and/or audio and/or video depicts, when it was taken and other information which you think might be relevant.

We may also need to contact you to verify some of the details provided in the review and/or image and/or audio and/or video. This will help your chances of having a review selected for use on the ABC's Indigenous website.

If you submit a review and/or image and/or audio and/or video, you do so in accordance with the following:

In contributing to ABC Indigenous you agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any media worldwide. This may include the use of your review and/or image and/or audio and/or video on ABC television, transmission of the material by our overseas partners and syndication to our Australian content partners.

You still own the copyright to everything you contribute to ABC Indigenous. If your review and/or image and/or audio and/or video is accepted, we will endeavour to give you credit on publication, where it is practical to do so. The ABC reserves the right to determine what reviews, photos, video and audio will be used and we reserve the right to edit your media.

In contributing any images and/or audio and/or video, you warrant that you are the copyright holder or have the permission of the copyright holder to send us the media and to use them as described above.

At no time should you endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or infringe any laws in obtaining this media or sending it to us for publication.

Please only send us photos of your own work, or photos you have permission to send on to us for publication.

Please provide a contact number or valid return email address in case we need to check with you about the details of the review.

Our use of reviews, video, images, audio and videos will be governed by the ABC's editorial policies.
