Edmund Poliness

Edmund Poliness is a Melbourne-based general practitioner, who is also involved in training medical students at the University of Melbourne. Since graduating as a doctor in 1995, he has held a broad variety of jobs in the medical world. He's worked in Vietnam, East Timor and the Northern Territory; been the doctor for a VFL Australian rules football team; and worked with the World Health Organisation in Geneva. In 2004 he spent six weeks with the ABC in Sydney as a Science Media Fellow.
