Cyclone Watch From Nt/Qld Border to Thursday Island.
A trough over QLD and NSW is causing thunderstorms. A tropical low and the monsoon are generating heavy showers and storms over the Top End. Onshore winds are generating patchy showers along the southeast QLD coast. Warm easterly winds for central and Western Australia. The northern jet is dipping south over WA, helping hot weather persist in the southwest of the state. The southern jet is helping drive strong, cold winds north into TAS.
