Welcome to Compass, the ABC's popular year-round series from across the globe devoted to faith, values, ethics, and religion. Compass is broadcast at approx. 10pm Sunday night.
"A compass neither shows the way nor makes judgement on the chosen path, instead it provides orientation, a point of reference. It seeks truth ("true north"), and it assists in journeying, even survival. It is of value, as a tool, a guide, an aid in navigation."
COMPASS:
Compass critically examines the world of belief and values, seeking meaning and a sense of purpose in life. It navigates the historical and contemporary, the personal and political, the religious and secular. Its guiding principle is to illuminate the spiritual and ethical journey, so revealing the broader issues of community and the shared experience of being human.
