Commonwealth Games 2006
Highlights - March 20
Track and field competition really hots up today, with Craig Mottram's bid to upset Kenya's world champion Benjamin Limo in the men's 5,000m. Can hometown advantage help Mottram write one of the Games' fairytales?
World record holder Asafa Powell of Jamaica is still to win a major event and today's men's 100m could be his chance.
Back in the pool, all eyes will be on the battle between England's Rebecca Cooke and Canada's Brittany Reimer in the women's 400m free, with Scotland's Caitlin McClatchey also in the mix for an event where Australia has only faint medal hopes. Leisel Jones defends her 100m breast stroke title.
